Who is responsible
Buffets Peterborough is a trading name of Jessica Briggs, the data controller for this website. Enquiries are closed during this preview. The contact address will be published before the form opens.
What we collect
When enquiries open, the form asks for your name, email, optional phone number, event type, optional date and guest count, venue or area, and your message. The service website is identified in the enquiry. Please do not include named guests’ health information.
Why we use your details
We use enquiries to take steps you request before a potential contract, prepare a quotation and communicate about your event. For business administration and service security we rely on legitimate interests. Required fields help us respond usefully. An enquiry does not give marketing permission.
Who handles an enquiry
The operator and authorised staff handle enquiries. Cloudflare hosts the website and, when the form is open, provides spam protection and email delivery. Enquiries sent to our site’s own email address are forwarded to the operator’s central business inbox for administration. Mail providers process the message for delivery and storage. Details are not sold or distributed to a panel of suppliers.
International processing
Hosting and email providers may process information outside the UK. Before enquiries open, the operator will confirm the relevant provider contracts and transfer safeguards; you may request information about those safeguards using the published contact address.
Retention
Enquiries are kept while the request and relevant follow-up remain active, then reviewed for removal or anonymisation. If you book, event, agreement and financial records are retained for the booking, subsequent administration and relevant legal or tax requirements. Necessary security records are kept for their respective purposes.
Cookies and technical data
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not save form answers in your browser storage. Hosting providers process technical request information to deliver and protect the website. When the enquiry form opens, Cloudflare Turnstile checks help prevent automated abuse. Enquiry details are not sent to Google Analytics.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the operator using the published site email address. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
